KINBO Electric is an integrated manufacturer of low-voltage electrical equipment, headquartered in Wenzhou, Zhejiang — one of China's most established centres for electrical manufacturing. Our factory complex spans 25,000 m2 and houses precision moulding, automatic assembly, in-circuit testing and a dedicated engineering team.

We design, manufacture and export a complete portfolio of MCBs, RCBOs, RCCBs, MCCBs, contactors, surge protective devices, smart switches and modular accessories. Every KINBO product carries the same promise: dependable protection, certified to international standards, delivered on time.

Our Journey

From workshop to global supplier

Key milestones in KINBO's growth as a specialist electrical manufacturer.

1999

Founding

KINBO founded in Wenzhou as a small specialised workshop producing miniature circuit breakers for the domestic Chinese market.

2003

First Export Order

Exported first container of MCBs to the Middle East, marking the beginning of KINBO's international growth.

2007

RCBO Production Launch

Introduced combined overcurrent & earth-leakage breakers (RCBO) and obtained first CB certification under IECEE scheme.

2012

New Factory Commissioned

Opened a 15,000 m2 automated facility with full in-house moulding, assembly and testing lines.

2016

YTM1 MCCB Family Released

Released the YTM1 molded case circuit breaker family, covering 63A to 1250A frames with electronic trip units.

2020

Smart-Electrical Division

Established the smart-electrical R&D team to develop IoT-enabled distribution products, beginning with the WiFi DIN-rail smart switch.

2024

YTM1L Residual-Current MCCB

Launched the YTM1L MCCB with adjustable earth-leakage module — an industry-leading integration of two protection technologies.

2026

Smart-Switch Capacity Expansion

Commissioned a fully automated line for WiFi smart switches, doubling capacity to 120 000 units/month and supporting growing global demand.
